Sean Zielinski, 80 of Las Vegas Nevada crossed over on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Sean was a considerate compassionate man known for his sense of humor and playfulness.
Sean was born July 19, 1943, in Manhattan, New York. Sean was an exceptional athlete as he was captain of his high school wrestling team, boxed in Golden Gloves, and life guarded on Long Island beaches to help pay for college. He continued playing sports (i.e., basketball, soccer, surfing, volleyball, etc.) recreationally throughout his life.
Sean received his M.A. and Ph.D.at the University of Connecticut and completed his Post Doctorate at the University of Oregon in Neuropsychology. Sean licensed and worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Veterans Administration serving US veterans in various states for over 50 years. He received numerous awards, recognitions and a key to Las Vegas.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Chelsea, a brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Barbara Szklany, nieces and nephews, and all the souls he touched along the way.
Sean loved animals and was the support human for his cat, Minnie. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Heaven Can Wait Animal Society.
