And being family owned, means we are accountable to you.

Whether you need us right now for a loved one or want to make arrangements for yourself for the future, please contact Aaron or Courtney Forgey, or one of our dedicated staff to assist you. You can count on Care Cremation & Burial to provide the best end-of-life services for you and your loved ones.

Families Choosing Cremation

It is important for a family to understand exactly where their loved one is being taken and cared for and who is completing the cremation. Many funeral homes do not clearly disclose where the loved one is or who is handling the cremation.

Care Cremation & Burial handles all arrangements for a loved one; from time of transfer into our Care facility by our staff, on-site shelter, as well as cremation, all at our location, your loved one is kept in our care. There is never outsourcing or third parties, and cremation takes place in a few days, not a few weeks. (Once the doctor has signed the death certificate, which can take a few days depending on the cooperation of the doctor and medical staff.)

Care Cremation & Burial can also receive your loved one from another funeral home including a death that involved the Clark County Coroner. You have the right to selecting a funeral home and crematory.

For more information and help, please call us anytime, day or night.

Why Choose Care Cremation?

With Care Cremation & Burial, we keep our prices low to help serve families at their worst possible time. Our cremation without formal services starts at $1000. Our cremation arrangements include:

  • Transfer to Care by Our licensed staff.
  • Meeting the family to arrange for the cremation.
  • Collecting and filing the information for the death certificate; notifying Social Security of the death.
  • Shelter and care of the loved one at our on-site holding facility.
  • "A Time to Say Goodbye"- every family is given the opportunity to say goodbye and make positive identification of their loved one at our facility, FREE OF CHARGE.
  • Completion of the cremation at our on-site crematory and return of the cremated remains to family.
  • Some families will purchase an urn, but one is not required.
  • The only additional costs the family would pay:
  • State/County Fee ($25, one-time fee)
  • Each certified copy of the death certificate is $25 each and Care will order and receive the certified copies for the family from the Southern Nevada Health District at no additional cost.
Total $1000

Care Cremation & Burial can also provide arrangements for viewing and funeral prior to cremation. Please contact us to learn more.

No Hidden Fees

There are no additional charges for family requests, like locks of hair, fingerprinting or if there is a second licensed staff member needed for a death at a home. If there is a pacemaker, there is no charge for our licensed staff to remove it. We do not charge a handling fee to order or receive certified death certificates. If the family desires a home appointment or at the hospital, there is no charge. The county charges a small amount of sales tax depending on the selection of merchandise items.

There is never a fee to be able to make positive identification of the loved one and to say goodbye prior to cremation, but some families desire to be present at the time of cremation, scheduling and witnessing the start of the cremation, at the request of the family, is $300. It is not a requirement to be present when the cremation occurs.

Families Choosing Burial

When you hire a funeral home to handle the arrangements of your loved one, you are asking that funeral home to care for them, not an independent contractor or third party. With Care Cremation & Burial, you work directly with the owner's, Aaron and Courtney Forgey. As Las Vegas natives, they take great pride in caring for each and every family.
Burial can be expensive, so we designed our location to be simple and transparent, and specializing in viewing, funerals, services at your house of worship or cemetery. By doing this, we are able to keep our costs lower than that of so many corporate owned funeral homes. We have a family room where family can gather to check the appearance of their loved one prior to services.

We specialize in serving various religious groups and have become experts in our field, paying close attention to the individual needs of families choosing burial with differing religious backgrounds. Whether setting up a tahara (religious washing) for a Jewish family, or a family dressing for a family from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or a Funeral Mass for a Catholic family, we truly care about each religious group and honoring their rituals and customs.

We can help to order flowers as well as custom create memorial stationary. Every family has the ability to see their loved one at our location prior to services at church or house of worship.

For more information and help, please call us anytime, day or night.
